Psychecalyptix: Primeval

The year is approximately 7,000 BP. A multidimensional rift opened and shattered the world as humans knew it. What came through it left an absolutely horiffic effect upon the entire planet. Led by The Maned Warlord, millions upon millions of corrupted parasitic creatures came pouring through the rift. Millions, maybe even billions, of humans were killed and much of the plant and animal life was as well. Around a few thousand humans from all over the world, and their animals, managed to band together and all hide in a location that was the last untouched part of the Earth. They travelled across land and sea, and any previous wars were forgotten in the face of the new danger. After they settled, they referred to this location as The Stronghold, as it was truly the last stronghold of humanity left.

You are one of the warriors who have been selected to fight off The Maned Warlord and his parasitic creatures, which also include some corrupted humans. However, don't take up fights that you can't handle. You may need to find glyphs first to train your abilities for battle. You can train your abilities at the building with the spiked top. You'll know which one. At the other buildings that stand out, you can purchase items, like weapons and health items to help you along the way, and also save your progress. You can use the glyphs that you have collected from finding them and defeating enemies to not only purchase items and train, but also to unlock lairs in the Crimson Palace to defeat the 8 beastlords. Of course, you can use these glyphs to fight The Maned Warlord also, as this is the main goal. We only recommend that you try to fight corrupted humans first, then the parasites when you feel capable enough of doing so.
